You're Not Near (clip)

You're so far away from me.
I'm in a land across the sea.
Though you're miles away from me
the thought of you is clear.

I can not sleep at night
knowing you are out of sight.
I feel so insecure
knowing you're not near.

I'm sick and desperately afraid of dying
lying by myself upon the land,
thinking of your voice and the soft
and tranquil touch of your hand.

The bullets are overhead,
but I am seeing you instead.
The loudness would disappear
if only you were near.

The blood stream is flowing down,
I feel my heart, it's slowing down.
My last kiss would belong to you
if only you were near.
