Who Can I Be?

People talking through their minds,
wasting time.
Saying words that often rhyme
and I find

I see people,
pretty people,
but it seems they don't see me.
Who can I be?

Colored lights inside my brain;
can't explain
why these lights are all insane,
just the same.

I see people,
pretty people,
but it seems they don't see me.
Who can I be?

So I can't really see
what the gods all want of me.
Some say killing is no good.
Others tell me that I should.

So the gold inside my head
turns to red
and the colors are all dead
sounds instead.

I hear people,
crying people,
but it seems they won't hear me.
Who can I be?

So I can’t really see
what the gods all want of me.
Some say killing is no good.
Others tell me that I should.

So the gold inside my head
turns to red
and the colors are all dead
sounds instead.

I hear people,
dying people,
but it seems they can't hear me.
Who can they be?
