10. Dumpster Baby 2:29 I wrote this song to make my stand on a woman’s right to choose clear but, also, to express the responsibilities of parents who decide to have children.
11. I Soon Shall Find My Ki 3:21
So many things have changed during my life time. At one time, a woman's right to choose was expressed in dark allies with the help of clothes hangers, homosexuals did everything they could to hide those to whom they were attracted and, everytime a new recreational drug was discovered to join alcohol, The Corporatocracy made certain that legislators voted to ban it. At first glance, it appears that certain states in The FUSA have improved by allowing for referenda on these issues. However, think about it. We are still allowing other people into our lives to tell us that we have to keep children whose lives will be lived in misery because they either were not wanted or can't be afforded or, even worse, are known to be so ill that they will never enjoy a normal life, we still allow others to tell us who we can or cannot love and marry and we allow others to tell us what we can and cannot put into our bodies. There was a referendum in California in 2011 which could have finally legalized anyone’s right to choose whether or not to smoke pot. My neighbors told me that, if I get high, I should be thrown into the slammer. I wonder how many cold ones some of those neighbors had before they went and voted on that day!
“I Soon Shall Find My Ki” is my way of thanking those neighbors for at least being humane enough to allow Californians to continue to fight pain and discomfort by allowing them to legally obtain medical marijuana.
I’m convinced that solar energy hasn’t caught on as it should have by now because The Corporatocracy hasn’t yet figured out a way of patenting the sun and putting its rays through a meter.
12. Tina 3:17
I've written and published songs about almost every girl/woman I've dated (or worse) in my life. After 20 years, I figured it was time to write and publish one about the most wonderful woman I've ever known.
